WE NOW SERVE GLUTEN FREE SOUPS, BREAD AND DESSERTS.

 

While you are visiting our town we would like to invite you to drop by THE COUNTRY CORNER . . . for a special lunch.  You can relax from your walk around our picturesque village and enjoy a bowl of our world famous “FRESH COD CHOWDER” followed by our equally famous hot from the oven, “WILD BLUEBERRY CRISP”  made from handpicked wild Newfoundland blueberriess.  If you feel especially adventurous you may have it with Newfoundland’s own Brookfield “BLUEBERRY ICE CREAM” and topped off with our own homemade “BLUEBERRY SAUCE”.

TAKE HOME

If you would like to take home our Blueberry Crisp we have it available in sizes for one, or serving tray sizes of 9" x 9" and 9" by 13".  We include our sauce with the purchase price.  Just ask your server about the prices.  One hour notice is needed if you would like one hot from the oven.  Let us help with your dessert for that special dinner party.

Our Chowder is also available in single serving or large quantity size to go.  Just let us know in advance if you require a larger quantity so that we can provide it hot for your party or just to take home for your family.

We use only the freshest ingredients in our soups, chowders, buns, cookies and
desserts that are made fresh daily in our own kitchen.   All the meats for our sandwiches are cooked fresh in our own kitchen.  We do not use processed meats.
